Joint bank accounts may or may not be a great idea in this day an age of short term matrimony, but some advantages that can make the difference between happy bliss and a state of affairs everyone would like to avoid can be had. Unless you belong to a so called elite and have a specific need to keep your fiscal entities separate for sake of business or large trusts then having a joint bank account actually works in your favor.
